Villa Pizzo Wedding Cost: What Couples Actually Pay in 2027
Villa Pizzo is one of the oldest estates on Lake Como, and one of the few where the gardens run right down to the water on a private stretch of shoreline in Cernobbio. It is also one of the harder venues to budget for, because almost nothing published about it agrees.
We have photographed and filmed weddings at Villa Pizzo, so this page is written from two angles: the numbers couples are quoted, and the practical realities that only show up on the day itself. Where sources disagree, we say so rather than picking the figure that sounds best.

The venue fee: why every source gives you a different number
This is the part couples find most frustrating, so here is the honest picture.
Published 2026–2027 figures for exclusive use of Villa Pizzo range from roughly €10,000 to €40,000, before VAT. Some planners quote a tiered structure of about €20,000 on weekdays, €25,000 on Fridays and Sundays, and €30,000 on Saturdays. Others quote a flat €40,000 for full exclusive day use. A third puts the realistic range for 75–100 guests at €30,000–€40,000, with an additional fee of around €10,000 to use the Darsena dock for weddings under 81 guests.
These are not contradictions so much as different packages. The fee moves with the season, the day of the week, the number of guests, how many spaces you take, whether you need the dock, and how long you hold the estate. A Tuesday in April with 40 guests and a Saturday in June with 150 are not the same product.
What this means for you: treat €25,000–€40,000 plus 22% VAT as a realistic planning figure, and get a written quote before you commit to anything else. Do not build a budget on a number you read online, including this one.

Villa Pizzo is an empty estate. The fee buys you access and the gardens; everything that makes a wedding happen is separate. These are indicative ranges based on what couples are currently quoted on Lake Como.

Add roughly 10% contingency. Weddings at Villa Pizzo rarely come in under €90,000 all in, and a hundred-guest wedding crossing €250,000 is common rather than exceptional.
Four things the price list does not tell you
Nobody sleeps at the villa. There are no rooms at Villa Pizzo, for anyone, including you. Everyone stays in Cernobbio, Como or Moltrasio, which means transport at both ends of the night and a getting-ready location that is somewhere else. This affects your timeline more than couples expect.
The dock changes the day. Arriving by boat at a private dock on Lake Como is the image most couples have in their heads when they choose this venue, and it delivers. It is also a separate cost, it depends on the weather, and boat timings drive the whole schedule. Build it in early or not at all.
The curfew is real and it is tiered. Amplified music outdoors stops late evening; the party moves inside after that. If you imagined dancing in the gardens until two in the morning, that is not this venue.
Catering is from an approved list. You are choosing from the villa's suppliers, not bringing your own. The list is good, but it removes a lever couples often use to control cost.
Photographing a wedding at Villa Pizzo
A few things we have learned shooting here.
The light on the lakefront terrace is at its best in the last two hours before sunset, and it goes fast. If your ceremony runs long, the portraits you were promised in that light do not happen. We build the timeline backwards from that window and tell planners the same thing every time.
The formal Italian gardens photograph beautifully but they are terraced and narrow in places, which limits where a group of 150 can stand. Family photographs work better on the courtyard side; the gardens are for the two of you.
The boat arrival is the strongest sequence of the day on film, and it is also the easiest to get wrong. It needs a second operator already in position on the dock before the boat is visible, otherwise you get the arrival but not the approach.
And the cypresses along the shoreline are the shot that says Villa Pizzo rather than generic-lake-villa. They read best from the water, in the afternoon.
